英模电影是中国电影产品中的特有类型,在政治体制的襁褓中诞生与发展。随着电影产业化的全面深入,担当政治意识形态传播重任的英模电影被迫走向市场,可由于裹挟旧有体制机制的藤蔓,英模电影至今未能实现彻底转型,半行政化半市场化的尴尬身份使得这类电影常难应对复杂多变的电影市场。2013年3月,电影《青春雷锋》高调登场,却遭遇“零票房”风波,并最终以口碑剧下、票房惨淡黯然撤退。《青春雷锋》事件再次提醒我们,是时候改变英模电影的市场困境了。
