随着休闲健身在京城的日渐普及,北京人已经不满足于简单的锻炼身体,而要在健身的同时,追求时尚,选择有文化内涵的健身项目。目前“剑道”这种结合智慧与精神,具有浓厚文化气息的国际性体育项目,正在北京悄然兴起。源于中国精于日本日本剑道发源于中国的剑术,中国古代曾一度将剑的修行称为剑道。《汉书·艺文志》中就记有《剑道》三十八篇,由此可见中国古代对剑道已有相当完整的理论体系。在隋唐时期剑道传入日本,经日本人的研习修改,取长补短,形成了独特的刀法技术。到19世纪末,渐渐发展成为一项体育运动,手持竹刀、穿着护具,演变成现在的“剑道”运动。目前,全世界有40多个国家、1000多万人热衷于练习剑道,在日本,剑道已是警察的必修训练课程。
