为适应我国高等教育发展的新形势,教育部于2004年推出了《大学英语课程教学要求(试行)》,给大学英语教师提出了新的标准和更高的要求。世界各国的教育改革,都把教师素质的提高作为教育改革的核心问题,教师的专业发展成为了人们关注的热点。本文在了解现状的基础上,总结出教师专业发展的一些特点,并提出一些教师自主发展的路径,为当前大学英语教学的改革和教师教育提供了一些依据。
In order to meet the new situation of the development of China’s higher education, the Ministry of Education launched the “College English Curriculum Teaching Requirements (Trial)” in 2004, which set new standards and higher requirements for college English teachers. Education reform in all countries in the world regards the improvement of teachers’ quality as the core issue of education reform, and the professional development of teachers has become a hot spot for people’s attention. On the basis of understanding the status quo, this article summarizes some characteristics of teachers’ professional development and puts forward some ways for teachers to develop independently. It provides some bases for the current reform of college English teaching and teacher education.
