In essence, the marginal marine reservoir consists of a series of complexly arranged facies that represent several sub-environmental binding features. In the marginal sea environment, corresponding to changes in relative sea level, the key sequence boundaries above can be covered with freshwater, brackish water and pure seawater (sediment). Therefore, in the exploration and development of such reservoirs, the distinction between freshwater, brackish water and pure seawater deposition is of special importance. The heritage fossil assemblage helps distinguish these environments. In general, the combination of brackish water trace fossil assemblages has the following characteristics: ① low degree of differentiation; ② poor marine combination, not marine and non-marine mixture; ③ simple structure formed by opportunistic species; ④ The combination of relics is often dominated by some relics; ⑤ Smaller forms; ⑥ Composition of vertical and horizontal relics common to the Skolithos and Cruziana relics
