引言近几年来,研究了砂轮线速度最高至90米/秒的外园切入磨削,在不影响工件质量的情况下显著提高了磨削效率,金属切除率达到了一般磨削从未达到的高度。从磨削原理来看,平面磨削亦可同样提高效率,因此必须更深入地研究可能提高平面磨削经济性的方法,特别是因为实际上已有许多这样平面磨削的例子。当用较高砂轮线速度,可以从毛坯直接磨出所需要的工件形状时,则这些方法的经济性好得多,这样工件在一台机床上即可完工,而不需预先经过铣削或刨削。
