朱家角镇,旧称珠里、珠溪、珠街阁、角里,位于上海市青浦区中南部,西距淀山湖5公里,东北距青浦城区6公里,东南距松江城区18公里(图一)。源出淀山湖的北漕港(淀浦河西段)由西向东横穿镇中北部,再向东40公里后于上海城区汇入黄浦江。北漕港将古镇分为南、北两部分,以北井亭港原属苏州昆山,中华人民共和国成立后始划入朱家角;以南部分是传统意义上的朱家角镇。该镇在宋元时期淀山
