the relationship between intrinsic viscosity[η] and yield strength [σ?] of SBR-1500 raw rubberwas studied. It was found that the critical molecular weight for yielding varied with temperature.The critical yield temperature of SBR--1500 is 18℃, which is equivalent to transition temperature T’_(ll)as determined by linear expansion. The transition temperature T’_(ll) of SBR increased with styrenecontent in the sample.
