Living in Mumbai, India, informal residences in cities are hard to ignore. If you look deeply, this way of living can actually give lessons to people in terms of economy, flexibility, versatility, wisdom and ingenuity. To observe this phenomenon as an object, a temporary, eclectic, sewing, collage visual language system emerged. We try to learn from some of these experiences and avoid romanticizing or over-fetching them. The project looks at recycling and collage concepts in different ways, from fully materialized entities such as materials and energy to intangible carriers such as history, space and memory.
