Villagers committees are the grass-roots organizations of rural society confirmed by the current constitution of our country. With the withdrawal of social work to build rural areas, by the end of 1984, all over the country have completed the establishment of the village committee work. In 1987, the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress passed the Organic Law of the Villagers ’Committees of the People’s Republic of China (Trial Implementation).
