晋煤外运,对山西,乃至全国经济的发展具有重要影响,今年5月24日,国务院副总理朱镕基来山西视察,就煤炭的产运销问题作了重要指示,朱副总理指出:不懂得山西铁路运输,就是不懂得中国经济。北京铁路局太原铁路分局承担着晋煤外运的重要任务,长期以来,运能与运量的矛盾尖锐,成为国民经济发展的“瓶颈”。如何解决这一矛盾,加快晋煤外运,以保障全国经济迅速发展?太原铁路分局局长毛维栋在本文中进行了探讨,提出了一些具体、切实的对策,本刊特予刊发,以期引起有关方面的重视。
