Multicast routing with multiple QoS constraints has become a very significant research issue in Ad Hoc networks. Most existing ways to deal with the routing problem of multiple QoS have some constraints, such as delay, bandwidth and delay jitter metrics. Compared with the traditional methods, a new network model which can develop a solution to these problems and maximize the lifetime of Ad Hoc networks is described in this paper. Accordingly, a multicast routing protocol based on clustering, MQCR(Multiple QoS Constraints Routing), is proposed. Each intra cluster node only needs to maintain its cluster’s routing information, and the each bridge node need to maintain the cluster and the summary information of other same level clusters of this higher level cluster. Extensive simulation studies show the good performance of MQCR, which can provide an effective approach to QoS multicast routing for mobile Ad Hoc networks.
