日前,中国执行大洋多金属结核资源勘察的科学考察船“大洋一号”在经过长达199天的航行后,圆满完成了勘察任务,顺利返航。由中国国家海洋局第二海洋研究所、国家海洋局北海分局等国内14家科研单位的100多名科技人员及美国、德国、俄罗斯等国专家参与的这次勘察活动,标志着中国已经在东北太平洋的国际海底区域最终圈定7.5万平方公里的21世纪深海采矿区。
Recently, China’s scientific exploration ship “Ocean One”, which conducted the resource exploration of polymetallic nodules in the oceans, successfully completed its survey mission and returned home smoothly after a long voyage of 199 days. More than 100 scientists and technicians from 14 research institutes in China including the Second Institute of Oceanography of the State Oceanic Administration of China and the North Sea Branch of the State Oceanic Administration and other experts from the United States, Germany and Russia participated in the survey, marking that China is already in the northeast The international seabed area in the Pacific eventually delineated a 75,000-square-mile 21st century deep-sea mining area.
