本研究旨在描述联合国儿童基金会7个项目县5岁以下儿童死亡状况并分析与儿童死亡有关的家庭及社会因素。研究结果表明:项目地区5岁以下儿童死亡率为97.51‰,婴儿死亡率为74.23‰,婴儿占5岁以下儿童死亡的76.1%;急性呼吸道感染(肺炎)和腹泻病分别列为死因的第一和第三位;74.8%的5岁以下儿童死亡发生在家中或就诊途中。家长文化程度、儿童母亲的卫生保健知识及以乡为单位的人均收入为影响5岁以下儿童死亡的主要原因。
This study aims to describe the deaths of children under the age of 5 in seven UNICEF project counties and to analyze family and social factors associated with child deaths. The results showed that: the mortality rate of children under 5 years of age in the project area was 97.51 ‰, the infant mortality rate was 74.23 ‰, and infants accounted for 76.1% of the deaths of children under 5 years of age. Acute respiratory infections (pneumonia) and diarrhea were the first cause of death And third place; 74.8% of the children under the age of 5 died at home or on the way to their clinic. Parental education, knowledge of child and mother’s health care and per capita income in rural areas are the major causes of death affecting children under 5 years of age.
