榆林地区种子公司从1981年开始在全区安排了春小麦夏播试验。在榆林、神木、横水等县先后试种成功,并出现了一些高产典型。特别是1986年府谷县大昌汗乡农民从内蒙古准格尔旗引种夏播春小麦成功后,该项技术得到迅速推广,1987年府谷县种植面积由65亩猛增到9395亩。据调查在干旱年份,山早地平均亩产达到80.2kg,个别田块高达140kg。由于产量和价格均高于主栽作物糜子,经济效益较为显著。从几年的试验示范种植情况看,栽培技术有以下几点:1.选择优良品种一般应选择生育期中等,抗病特别是高抗叶锈的品种。从试验的20多个材料筛选结果和府谷县两年示范种植的情况看,以中7906、中7606、夏麦4号、龙溪35和准旗春麦等较为理想,其中以准旗春麦为最佳。该品种原系内蒙准格尔旗川
