英语专业选修课是对英语专业教学的延伸。在我校应用型人才培养模式下,英语专业选修课发挥着不可替代的作用。本文首先介绍了应用型人才的五种属性,并以此为指导,主要讨论了在英语专业选修课教学中,要提高教师自身素质,了解学生选课的目的,灵活运用教材,改进教学方法和优化考核方式。以此来提高英语专业选修课教学效果,培养出具有较高专业知识和综合素质的应用型英语人才。
English majors are an extension of English majors. Under the model of practical talents training in our school, elective courses of English major play an irreplaceable role. This paper first introduces five kinds of attributes of applied talents, and as a guide, mainly discusses the need to improve the quality of teachers in English elective courses, to understand the purpose of student selection, to use teaching materials flexibly, to improve teaching methods and optimization Assessment method. In order to improve the teaching effectiveness of electives in English major, we should cultivate applied English talents with higher professional knowledge and overall quality.
