三峡炼锌遗址群是目前我国已发现的时间最早、规模最大的古代炼锌遗址群,分布在重庆市丰都县、石柱县等地,已确认遗址20余处。2013年6月至8月,重庆市文化遗产研究院对忠县洋渡镇临江二队炼锌遗址进行了考古发掘,清理了炼锌炉、灰坑、柱洞等共125个遗迹,出土了冶炼罐、冷凝窝、瓷碗、盘、杯等共700余件遗物。本次发掘对于研究炼锌遗址的分布、时代、选址、冶炼场布局等问题具有重要意义。清理出的2座保存较完好的炼锌炉是三峡地区乃至全国目前所发现保存最完好、结构最清晰的明代炼锌炉,对于复原明代炼锌炉的形制、演变,了解其冶炼的工艺流程提供了宝贵的实物资料,对探寻三峡地区乃至我国的炼锌技术的产生、发展具有重大的学术价值。
Three Gorges Zinc Smelter Relics Group is the earliest and largest ancient zinc smelting ruins in our country, distributed in Fengdu County, Shizhu County and other places in Chongqing Municipality.
