在中国日益重视对外传播的今天,外国驻华记者对中国工作环境的看法应受到重视。从传播学角度看,驻华外国记者发挥着“把关人”的作用,海外受众通常是借助驻华外国记者的新闻报道了解中国。本文作者通过与15位驻华外国记者一对一的访谈,对他们在华工作的感受进行了研究。这15人中有美国CNN驻北京首席记者、路透社驻中国首席记者、美联社驻北京分社社长、英国《经济学人》北京记者站站长等,国籍有日本、美国、韩国、新加坡、英国、意大利、德国等。为尊重受访者,本文隐去他们的姓名。
As China increasingly values its external communications, foreign correspondents in China should pay more attention to the work environment in China. From a communication perspective, foreign correspondents in China play a role of “gatekeeper”, and overseas audiences usually understand China through news reports of foreign correspondents in China. The author conducted a one-on-one interviews with 15 foreign correspondents in China and conducted a study on their feelings about their work in China. Among the 15, CNN chief reporters in Beijing, Reuters chief correspondent in China, head of the Associated Press Office in Beijing and head of the Beijing correspondent for the Economist of the United Kingdom, have nationalities of Japan, the United States, South Korea, and Singapore , Britain, Italy, Germany and so on.
