江泽民一方面继承党内民主建设已经取得的成果,另一方面又不断结合新的实际,推动党内民主发展。总结江泽民发展党内民主的基本经验,主要有:发展党内民主,必须以“三个代表”重要思想为指导;发展党内民主,要进一步解放思想,不断创新;党内民主建设,要同国家民主建设和法制建设紧密结合;发展党内民主,必须在党的领导下有步骤有秩序地逐步推进;发展党内民主,必须坚决维护党和国家的集中统一。
On the one hand, Jiang Zemin inherited the achievements already made in the building of inner-Party democracy; on the other hand, Jiang Zemin continued to promote the development of democracy within the party in keeping with the new reality. To summarize Jiang Zemin’s basic experience in developing inner-party democracy, he should mainly follow the guidance of the important thinking of the ’Three Represents.’ To develop inner-party democracy, it is necessary to develop inner-party democracy and further emancipate the mind and innovate continuously. In order to develop inner-party democracy, we must step by step and orderly progress under the leadership of the party. To develop inner-party democracy, we must resolutely safeguard the centralization and unification of the party and the state.
