滑动轴承是汽车发动机很重要的摩擦易损件,它与曲轴、活塞销、凸轮轴是一对对的很重要的摩擦副。滑动轴承的作用既是支承旋转部件又承受燃气压力运动部件的惯性力,另外还要承受由于摩擦而产生的热负荷。故滑动轴承及其合金材料的机械性能在一定程度上决定了发动机的尺寸、重量、寿命、可靠性以及某些主要经济技术指标。作为滑动轴承合金材料应具备下列性能:
