“我这绣龙袍的手艺,是和我公爹学的,我年岁大了,想把它传授给每一位愿意学习刺绣的人。”60岁的刘秀花大妈在她的绣花坊里和大家说。30多年前,房山区琉璃河镇刘李店村的刘秀花和公爹学会了刺绣宫廷大龙袍的手艺。公爹宁国玺13岁学习刺绣,心灵手巧,悟性又好,有一手刺绣宫廷龙袍的绝活儿,行内给予他一个“蝴蝶宁”的美誉。他曾在1949年参加了刺绣人民代表佩戴的国徽的工作,并亲手绣过国旗,宁国玺的手艺来源于他的师傅:一名宫廷刺绣工匠。
