隐喻既是一种语言现象,同时又是一种认知现象。关联性是构成隐喻的基础,隐喻的理解过程就是寻找其中的最佳关联,取得语境效果的过程。本文旨在探讨关联理论框架下的隐喻含义的阐释及其推导过程。关联理论对隐喻的阐释,拓展了以往的隐喻理论,同时进一步表明:隐喻不仅仅是一种语言现象,更重要的还是一种思维方式,它能使我们更好地认识世界。 Metaphor is not only a linguistic phenomenon, but also a cognitive phenomenon. Relevance is the basis of metaphor. The process of understanding metaphor is to find the best relationship among them and obtain the effect of context. The purpose of this paper is to explore the metaphorical interpretation and its derivation under the framework of relevance theory. Relevance theory expounds the metaphor and expands the previous metaphor theory. At the same time, it further shows that metaphor is not only a linguistic phenomenon, but more importantly, it is a way of thinking that enables us to better understand the world.
