From November 8 to November 14, 2012, the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China was held in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. There were 2,325 delegates and specially invited delegates in the General Assembly, and 2307 people were present. There are five major agenda items: listen to and deliberate the report of the Party’s 17th Central Committee; review the work report of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection; examine and approve the “Constitution of the Communist Party of China (Amendment)”; elect the Party’s 18th Central Committee ; Election of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.
