大学英语课堂教学中存在着语言和文化相互脱节的现象。教师和学生对基础知识的过多关注以及对文化知识的忽视,导致英语课堂成为应试教育的重要平台。国家教育部对此出台新规,要求英语教学重视文化知识的输入。与此同时,日益深入的全球化发展也迫切需要能够融语言技能和人文素养为一体的国际型人才。有鉴于此,大学英语课堂教学同跨文化交际理念的有机结合具有可行性和科学性。
There is a disconnect between language and culture in college English classroom teaching. Teachers ’and students’ excessive attention to basic knowledge and neglect of cultural knowledge have led to the English classroom becoming an important platform for exam-oriented education. The Ministry of Education issued a new regulation on this issue, requiring English teaching to attach importance to the input of cultural knowledge. At the same time, there is an urgent need for international talents capable of integrating linguistic skills and humanistic accomplishments with the deepening globalization. In view of this, the combination of college English classroom teaching and the concept of intercultural communication is feasible and scientific.
