大蒜是我国民間的常用药物,对多种傳染病的治疗和預防有一定效果。作者等于1959年曾用大蒜汁噴雾預防脑膜炎也取得了一定效果。大蒜中含有植物杀菌素,康氏及張氏等报告大蒜对多种病原細菌及眞菌具有杀菌或抑菌作用,但未对脑膜炎球菌进行試驗。陆氏作了大蒜对脑膜炎球菌的抑菌試驗,仅在高濃度时有效。我們通过試驗,証明低濃度的大蒜汁即对脑膜炎球菌具有制菌作用,現将結果报告如下。材料与方法大蒜汁的制备:将生大蒜去皮后榨取其汁,以蒸餾水稀釋至20%(卽200毫克/毫升),通过赛氏滤器备用。
