确定电视摄象管分辨率是一项非常复杂的任务.摄象管只有放在整个摄象系统才能评价它的性能,而摄象系统的每个元件都对最终结果有影响.通常分辨率是利用给定行数的方波幅值响应来确定的.然而,现在认为电子束分辨孔径的几何形状一般是椭圆的,以及摄象管系统的幅值响应不是唯一的,因而研究了一种用新的测试卡和计算机程序来计算分辨孔径的几何形状的方法.根据这种方法提出了MTF(modulation transfer function)理论.用这种新测试卡测得的幅值响应来评价确定分辨率的三个参数:即有效的幅值响应、不对称率和MTF指数.对各种摄象管的测量证实了这种新方法和它的效果.
