从启动机的工作原理可知,正常情况下,启动机电磁装置的工作顺序是先使启动机驱动齿轮与发动机飞轮齿圈啮合,而后接通启动线路。如果启动机驱动齿轮与发动机飞轮齿圈啮合之前,接触盘推杆已经将接触盘向右推到极限位置,由于启动机和蓄电池接线柱的阻碍,接触盘推杆会顶住衔铁,这样拨叉便不能继续拨动驱动齿轮完成与发动机飞轮齿圈的有效啮合,从而产生启动机打滑。
