Although DuPont Lycra has entered the Chinese market only for five years, the pace of development has been extraordinary. This year alone, DuPont Lycra sales in China have more than tripled. The Dupont Laica factory opened in Shanghai Qingpu Hi-Tech Textile City has an annual output of 2,500 tons, and the demand for the product is still in short supply.
