Chengdu Keli Chemical Industry Research Institute has developed a highly efficient composite photodegradable masterbatch consisting mainly of photosensitizers, light stabilizers, and polyethylene. In normal plastics, the amount of 1% can be achieved within a certain period of time. Plastics degrade into powders for the purpose of protecting the environment. Experiments by the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences show that this product and biodegradable masterbatch have excellent synergistic degradation effects, and can degrade the plastic film into powder.
