The relationship between public prosecution rights and the supervisory power of criminal trials persists misunderstandings within the procuratorial organs. There are many defects in the combination of public prosecution and judicial supervision. Therefore, the right of prosecution and the right to supervision of criminal trials should be exercised independently and an adjudication supervisory body should be established within the People’s Procuratorate
