在现代欧风美雨的洗礼下,梁漱溟格外重视对“孔子之真”的倡导,他在现代西方生命哲学的启发下,运用《周易》哲学中的“生”的概念,对孔子儒学进行了创造性的诠释,认为孔学的真义在于生命或生活本身。由此他认为孔学的一切观念讲的都是“生”的道理,并从“仁生”的角度,通过与所谓“算账的生活”的对比,对孔子儒学的深刻内涵作出了极富特色且对现代国人的生命安顿极富启发性的解读。这种以“生”释儒的解读方式,不仅开启了现代新儒家诠释儒学的基本理路,也为儒学的现代转换提供了重要的启示和方向。
