童话大师安徒生借《丑小鸭》向人们呈现真实的生活:当它与众不同、能力弱小时,它备受嘲弄,冷落,欺侮,孤独感如影随形;在漂泊中,它的视界越来越大,心理境界不断提升,不同意对世界“井底之蛙”的看法;偶尔被人关心,却误解好意,选择仓皇逃离;当它羽翼丰满时,它受到人们的交口称赞和同类的仰视,才真正接受别人对自己的肯定,对自己的爱,幸福感充溢心间。这就是人类的世界,这就是人间的冷暖。
