The classification of porphyry copper deposits and their alteration-mineralization zonation are discussed in “Evolutionary History of Alteration of Porphyry Copper Deposits and Patterns of Alteration Zoning” (in Chinese) .This paper mainly discusses Primary halo zoning pattern of porphyry copper deposits, element incorporation and elusion in the alteration-mineralization process and controlling factors of primary halo zonation.
