库尔勒香梨果实品质优良,外观艳丽,在国内外市场上享有较高的声誉,但生产中常出现果实小和突顶果(俗称公梨或宿萼果、猪嘴梨),特别是突顶果,近几年有逐渐增多的趋势.我们曾认为香梨的突顶果是果实生理病害的一种表现形式.但进一步调查、试验及果实成分测定证实,单纯的突顶果不属于生理病害,而是品种本身在一定条件下的果实生长规律,只有粗皮、硬头、绿头等类型才是由营养失调造成的果实生理病害.
