煅烧是氧化铝生产的最后一道工序,是氢氧化铝到氧化铝的转变过程,焙烧炉是氢氧化铝煅烧的设备,气态悬浮焙烧炉是目前世界用的最多、最为节能的焙烧炉,用的燃料有重油、焦炉煤气、发生炉煤气、天然气,随着西气东输工程的建成投运,以及煤炭资源的逐渐枯竭,许多氧化铝厂用天然气代替发生炉煤气,天然气的用户越来越多,天然气与煤气相比没有硫化物,不对大气造成污染,而且天然气的热值高,惰性气体含量小,使焙烧炉的烟尘排放量小,从而使ID风机的负荷降低。
