兴义市是黔西南自治州州府所在地,是全省经济强市之一。2002年,全市“两基”工作通过省政府的评估验收,并得到国家审核认定。2006年“两基”复查和“普实”验收经省政府检查获得“双合格”。现全市小学适龄儿童入学率达99.5%,初中阶段毛入学率达108.1%,15周岁人口初等教育完成率达98.4%,17周岁人口初级中等教育完成率达88.4%,小学生均校舍面积3.6平方米,初中生均校舍面积为4.7平方米,小学师生比为1∶21.7,初中师生比为1∶19.3,青壮年非文盲率达99.4%。为确保“两基”工作顺利通过“国检”,全市上下一致,强化措施,扎实工作,各项工作有效推进。
Xingyi City is the seat of the autonomous prefecture of southwest Guizhou and is one of the economically strong cities in the province. In 2002, the city’s “two basics” work passed the provincial government’s assessment and acceptance, and was approved by the state. In 2006, the review of the “two bases” and the acceptance of the “Universal Plus” were examined by the provincial government and obtained “double pass.” The primary school enrollment rate for primary school-age children is 99.5%, and the gross enrollment rate at junior high school is 108.1%. The primary school pupils have an average campus area of 3.6 square meters. The average secondary school building area for junior high school is 4.7 square meters. The teacher-student ratio in primary schools is 1:21.7. The ratio of teachers and students in junior high schools is 1:19.3, and the non-literate rate for young adults is 99.4%. In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the “two-base” work through the “national inspection,” the whole city operates in unison, strengthens measures, and conducts solid work. All work is effectively promoted.
