作者曾在《林业科技通讯》1974年第9期,介绍了一种用于更新调查的“徘徊四分法”。该法不仅能提供密度数据,还能获得幼树分布格局等众多信息。本研究旨在把徘徊四分法引进到天然林和类天然林的抚育间伐中来,用以确定合理的间伐强度,其结果如下。一、林分特点研究地区位于长白山林区西坡,样地均设置在松江河林业局境内。需要抚育间伐的林分有长白落叶松林、长白落叶松-白桦混交林和红松-阔叶林三种类型。长白落叶松林分和长白落叶松-白桦混交林分系在皆伐迹地上采用窄缝栽植法人工更新
In “Forestry Science and Technology Newsletter”, Issue 9, 1974, the author introduced a “hovering quarter-point method” for updating surveys. This method can not only provide density data, but also obtain a lot of information such as sapling distribution pattern. The aim of this study was to introduce a hovering quadrant into the thinning of natural forests and natural-type forest to determine the reasonable thinning intensity. The results are as follows. First, the characteristics of forest research area is located in the western slope of Changbai Mountain Forest, sample sites are set in Songjianghe Forestry Bureau. There are three types of stands that need tending thinning, such as long-staple Larix forest, long-staple Larix - Betula platyphylla mixed forest and Korean pine - broad-leaved forest. Larix olgensis stands and Larix olgensis-Betula platyphylla stand were artificially updated by narrow-gap planting on clear-cut sites
