In the high-yielding rice breeding, because the yield is greatly affected by the environment, the early generation mostly establishes the high-yielding ecotype by selecting the traits closely related with yield and heritability, so as to achieve the purpose of selecting high-yielding varieties. For this reason, understanding of traits is very important for future generations to choose from.
