This book, by R.H.Mcmilan and D.J. Robinson et al., Describes the geological features and genesis of the Hemlo gold-copper-zinc deposit in Ontario, Canada. The deposit is by far one of the largest gold deposits discovered in Canada. In the early stages of mining, gold reserves at 0.23 oz / t reached 85 million tonnes. Ore deposits originated in the Archean greenstone belt. However, unlike other gold deposits dominated by quartz veins of the same age, mineralization mainly occurs in sericite schist containing pyrite and massive barite. Au and Mo, Sb, Hg, Ti, V and other symbiosis.
