In order to promote the development of comprehensive weed control technology in our country and to improve the research level of weed science in our country, the weed science workshop jointly organized by the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Science Center for Science and Technology and the Weed Research Institute of Chinese Society for Plant Protection, in 1988 January 4 to 23 held in Beijing. The workshop invited 11 well-known experts and professors who engaged in the research of weed science and control of farmland in the national scientific research and teaching systems. There are 23 provinces (municipalities) and autonomous regions in the country participating in the workshop
