Based on John Phyllis’s Natural Law and Natural Rights, this article argues that the search for central meaning is ethical semiotic and discusses this aspect in different fields, such as the face of photography. This discussion is productive in two respects: first, it further illustrates the philosophical benefits of ethnographic semiotics of central meaning; and second, the reality of natural law holds that basic good and common good are worthwhile While the research on ethics and semiology of photography and camera provided empirical and trilateral arguments for the claim of the new natural law theory,
