为纪念中国共产党成立8O周年,广东美术馆与中国术家美协、北京炎黄艺术馆共同举办的“符罗飞——关于人民的素描”专题展于2001年6月20日至7月3日在北京炎黄艺术馆举行。 符罗飞(1897～1971)是一名赤诚的共产主义战士,同时,他更是一位中国现代美术史上有重要意义的艺术家,他出生 于海南岛的一个贫苦渔民家庭,稍长即漂泊南洋打工,其后又半工半读,依靠坚韧的毅力游学于上海、南京、日本、意大利等地,并获得意大利皇家金质奖,是中国最早应邀参加威尼斯国际艺术赛会的艺术家之一。他早年投身革命,将自己的艺术生命与革命事业紧密联系起来,是一位杰出的人民艺术家。解放后历任广州军管会军代表、广州市政协委员、中国美协理事、 厨房 17.5×12.5cm 1958年
