In this paper, the effects of IL-1 on the function of Leydig cells in normal and vasectomized rats were observed. The results showed that the content of testosterone and cAMP in the culture supernatant of Leydig cells of normal and vasectomized rats were significantly higher than that of the corresponding control wells under the action of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) Significantly different, indicating that the vas deferens after testicular Leydig cells did not change the response to pituitary hormone; two groups of cells by the role of IL-1 alone also showed to promote testosterone secretion; but when the IL-1 and hCG and testicular Leydig The amount of testosterone secreted by cells was significantly lower than that of hCG alone. The changes of two groups were similar. It showed that IL-1 inhibited the testosterone secretion of hCG-induced Leydig cells. Therefore, to reduce the testicular local IL-1 production, for the prevention of the decline of testosterone, is of great significance.
