据美国惠普公司1989年1月9日新闻发布消息,分析仪器部色谱分部新年伊始,献给广大化学分析家一件新的工具—5921A微波等离子体原子发射光谱色谱检测器(AED)。这一新检测器可以检测除氦以外的一切元素。检测限可低达pg级。主要应用领域有石油、石油化工、环境监测及化学品制造业等。 AED是一个气相色谱仪选择性检测器,通过检测被激发的原子发射出的特征波长光强获得色谱柱分离出的组分的元素色谱图。检测器由三部分组成:微波感应等离子体光源、分光器及发光二极管矩阵光检测器。
According to the news release news of Hewlett-Packard Company of USA on January 9, 1989, the chromatographic division of the Analytical Instrument Division was dedicated to a large number of chemists’ new tool -5921A microwave plasma atomic emission spectrometry detector (AED) at the beginning of the new year. This new detector can detect everything except helium. Detection limit can be as low as pg level. The main areas of application are petroleum, petrochemicals, environmental monitoring and chemical manufacturing. The AED is a gas chromatograph-selective detector that acquires the elemental chromatogram of the component separated by the column by detecting the characteristic wavelength of light emitted by the excited atoms. Detector consists of three parts: microwave-induced plasma light source, splitter and light-emitting diode matrix light detector.
