海水中钙含量与不同海水水系的混合(也包括海水与大陆水的混合)、海水中二氧化碳系统的循环,海底沉积的形成,海洋生物活动的情况及其一系列海水的物理化学变化等问题有密切的关系。因此海水中钙的测定是“海水分析化学”的重要课题之一。 海水中钙量的测定方法颇多,有重量法,容量法和火焰分光光度法。近来的络合滴定法经不少工作者研究改正后,方法简便快捷,准确度也高,所以在海水分析中颇常采用。
