桧柏,常绿针叶乔木,是北方风景、行道优良绿化树种。由于桧柏种子种皮硬、厚、含有树脂、吸水困难,且有隔年发芽特性,导致桧柏播种育苗技术条件要求高,播种育苗成活率低。笔者从1994年开始进行桧柏小拱棚绿枝扦插快繁育苗试验并取得满意效果,成活率达到60%,每平方米产苗约160株,且移栽后成苗快,株型紧凑美观,保持了母本优良特性,年生长量与播种苗无差异。现将桧柏小拱棚绿枝扦插快繁育苗技术要点总结如下:
