Antibiotic preparations that have an effect on Pseudomonas aeruginosa attached to the skin of burns, scalds, bedsores and infections are currently widely used as aminoglycoside antibiotics, but gentamicin-resistant strains have emerged. It has been reported that gentamicin-resistant strains are resistant to dideoxykanamycin and tobramycin, whereas many strains show good sensitivity to kanamycin sulfate.
