自1952年旧金山和约生效以来,仅40年左右的时间,日本就从一个战败国被占领地位迅速崛起,不仅成为亚洲唯一发达国家、世界第二经济强国,而且正在向“政治大国”发展。日本这种国际地位的巨变有多方面的原因,但其中一个重要方面是日本始终把东南亚作为日本经济发展和对外战略的重点之一。
Since the entry into force of the San Francisco Peace Treaty in 1952, in just 40 years or so, Japan has rapidly risen from the occupied position of a defeated nation. It has not only become the only developed country in Asia and the second largest economic power in the world, but also is developing toward a “political power.” There are many reasons for Japan’s great change in its international status, but one of the important aspects is that Japan has always put Southeast Asia as one of the priorities of Japan’s economic development and foreign strategy.
