The standard Gibbs free energy of the main compounds of the Sm-Ba-Cu-O system was tested by measuring the electromotive force (EMF) of the solid electrolyte. The results showed that the rare earth complex oxides Sm 1+ x Ba 2-x Cu 3Oy, As the solubility x increased, the stability of the compound decreased DTA experiments support this conclusion.
