一、新形势下的图书市场调查 我国正处在由计划经济向社会主义市场经济过渡的时期,建立社会主义市场经济体制这场社会革命不可避免地对出版业的发展产生深刻的影响。影响的实质,是书刊出版活动必须与市场需求变化情况相适应。编印发三个出版子系统,在市场面前各有其调查的重点与对策思路。这里着重谈谈出版社的市场调查问题,并以少儿读物为例谈点体会与想法。 改革开放以后的十多年中,我国出版业快速发展,这是在逐步改变高度集中统一的计划管理模式的过程中,各出版社间初步开展了商品竞争的结果。但最初的竞争并不激烈。原因是十年“文革”首先是革了文化的“命”,出了很少的几本书也是多半属于被批判的,在新时期的头几年,人们对于图书的广泛需求几乎到了饥不择食的程度,也就是说“文革”为出版留下了极其广阔的空白地带有待进驻,而社会的改革开放和科技的普及发展又不断产生着新的知识门类、新的知识体系、新的表达技法,以及新用途、新形式、新载体的图书需求,有待出版社去开发满足。市场一度出现了需大于供的局面。由此形成了以规模数量增长为主要特征的出版业的发展阶
