Privately-funded Amroc, a low-orbiting satellite rocket launched exclusively by private sources, is scheduled to launch a rocket low orbit flight test by the end of 1987. Currently, it is negotiating with the U.S. Air Force to use the launch pad at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California.
